Wellness Clinical Research is looking for participants for a Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity study in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.

Type 2 diabetes is a health condition in which the body fails to use insulin properly - a hormone that helps convert sugar into energy. It may occur due to genetics, a sedentary lifestyle, or obesity. When insulin is not utilized effectively, sugar accumulates in the bloodstream, resulting in various health complications. Symptoms of type 2 diabetes include fatigue, frequent thirst, and increased urination.

If you're 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, you may qualify for a research study assessing the effectiveness and safety of Orforglipron in comparison to insulin glargine. The study is specifically targeting individuals with type 2 diabetes, obesity or overweight, and an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases.
